Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What's the Difference between life coaching and therapy?
Therapy focuses on healing past traumas and addressing mental health conditions, while life coaching is future-focused, helping you set and achieve personal and professional goals. Coaching empowers you with strategies for growth, confidence, and success.
Q: What are the benefits of working with a life coach?
A life coach helps you gain clarity, set meaningful goals, build confidence, and develop practical strategies for success. You’ll receive guidance, accountability, and motivation to overcome challenges and create positive change in your life.
Q: How do I make a payment?
Payments can be made via E-Transfer (Canada only) or PayPal (international). Clients are responsible for any additional fees charged by the payment platform. Payment details will be provided privately.
Q: Do you take clients outside of Canada?
Yes! I accept international clients as long as they can attend sessions on Zoom and make payments via E-Transfer (Canada only) or PayPal (international).
Q: What is your education?
I am a Certified Life Coach, Certified Solution-Focused Coach, and Certified Mindset Coach through Universal Coach Institute since 2020. I have been supporting mainly mothers in time management (life balance) and stress management since then.
I am also a former Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and hold a Graduate Certificate (2024) in Community & Health Services Navigation. This allows me to assist clients in finding resources and navigating various systems, reducing the stress of doing it alone.
Q: Is it required to have my video on during Zoom sessions?
No, it’s not required. Sometimes, I may also prefer to keep the video off. Whatever you’re comfortable with—just audio is perfectly fine!
Q: Are there any restrictions during sessions for male participants?
Yes. I do not have my video on when males are present. For teen sessions, I prefer that their mother is at least nearby for support.

Q: How do I know if life coaching is for me?
Let’s chat! You’re welcome to schedule a FREE 15-20 minute consultation on the phone or Zoom, where we’ll introduce ourselves, answer any questions, explain what coaching is, and discuss your goals and obstacles. I’m here to help, but if I feel I’m not the right fit for your needs, I’ll be honest and do my best to point you toward the right support.
If we decide to work together, my goal is to help you become independent and confident as quickly as possible—usually within 3-4 private sessions.

Q: Are sessions in person or online?
Currently, everything is online via Zoom, or over the phone. Insha'Allah.
Q: Is life coaching covered by OHIP or private insurance?
No, life coaching is not covered by OHIP or private insurance. However, I do offer options for those who are worried about paying fees. Please don't let that keep you from reaching out.
Q: What is life skills coaching?
Life skills coaching helps you develop essential skills like communication, emotional regulation, time management, and decision-making etc. It empowers you to navigate daily challenges with confidence, improve relationships, and achieve personal and professional growth.
Q: Would you like to Collab?
Yes! I’m open to collaborations that align with my mission of empowering Muslim families through faith and life skills.
