As mothers, we often focus on big achievements, but emotional connection can also be built through celebrating the small victories. Whether it’s acing a test, finishing a challenging task, or simply helping around the house, acknowledge and celebrate these moments.

When your child or teen accomplishes something, make a big deal of it! Share in their joy by saying, “I’m so proud of you!” or “You worked hard for this, and I see it!”

This reinforces a positive connection between you and gives them a sense of accomplishment.

Tip: Don’t wait for the “big moments.” Celebrate the small wins regularly to nurture confidence and positivity in your child or teen.
