Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential!
As Muslim mothers, we are taught the importance of self-care for maintaining our well-being. When we feel balanced and nourished, we’re better equipped to care for our children emotionally and mentally.
This can be as simple as setting aside time for prayer, reading, or a short walk.
By taking care of your own emotional needs, you set an example for your children that self-care is important for everyone.
Tip: Schedule time each week to do something just for yourself. Even 15 minutes can make a big difference in how you show up for your family.
